Beebe Draw Historical Society Beebe Draw Heritage tours, dude ranches, hayrides, corn mazes, public access pick it yourself farms they're all forms of agritourism. What's new about it is the idea that agritourism can be marketed as a destination activity. The South Platte valley of Colorado is offering an array of attractions from art galleries and horseback riding to fishing and even gold panning. Locally hosted festivals and conventions can be woven into affordable travel packages year around that have marketing weight to draw tourists. This fledgling effort in promoting Northeastern Colorado adventure vacations offers a great example of how heritage toursim can impact our rural economy.
